This month’s team spotlight features Mark Coppa. A recent hire at Falvey Cargo, Mark has quickly proved himself to be an outstanding “rookie” and helped our team provide the best service to clients.
Mark’s role as an underwriting technical assistant requires him to work closely with and support Falvey Cargo’s underwriters. He assists our underwriters with renewal and new business accounts, from submission to policy issuance. Mark also helps maintain those accounts throughout the year, including midterm changes and endorsements.
“As a newcomer to cargo insurance, Falvey gives me plenty of resources and opportunity to learn and grow,” Mark says. “Everyone at Falvey has supported me in any way they can. Falvey is a family atmosphere where everyone is willing to help out, no matter the time of day or size of request.”
Mark graduated from Westfield State University with a bachelor’s degree in both Economics and Criminal Justice. He was hired onto the Falvey Cargo team immediately after college.
As for his hobbies, Mark is an avid cyclist, hiker, and runner. When he’s not outdoors, he loves to watch a movie or read a good book. Mark was also recently voted as “Rookie of the Year” by Falvey employees.
