Our team spotlight for this week features Katie Booth. She is known for her attention to detail, superior communication skills, and love of the great outdoors.
As an underwriting technical assistant, Katie provides critical support to Falvey Cargo’s underwriters. Her daily tasks are focused on retaining renewal business and binding new business. Communication skills are also key to Katie’s role. She is responsible for corresponding with brokers in a timely manner to process endorsements, audits, and policy issuances, as well as perform other account servicing tasks.
“I’ve met a great group of people at Falvey who inspire me to learn something new each day and make coming to work very enjoyable,” says Katie. “Our team reminds me of the quote, ‘Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.’”
Prior to joining Falvey Cargo, Katie was a personal lines assistant account manager at The Hilb Group where she serviced the home and auto insurance markets. While at Hilb, Katie earned her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) designation.
When Katie’s isn’t at work, she likes to hike or simply be outside. At the top of her bucket list is visiting every U.S. national park at least once.
