Last week, the Falvey Cargo team gathered at headquarters for our annual Summer Meetings. Coming from all over the country and across the pond, the full agenda covered everything from industry trends to Falvey’s new offerings. Here’s a quick recap:  

2020 and Beyond

The biggest focus of the week for the Falvey Cargo team was our plans for 2020 and beyond. We’re already preparing for big changes in the coming years.

Technology Training

The team was trained on new technology that will improve underwriting and claims processes.

Marketing

Falvey’s Marketing and Cargo teams met to chat about ongoing and future programs. We’ll be expanding our initiatives to keep customers and the industry updated and informed.

Claims Trends

Our team had a session dedicated to examining trends in claims and debated what we think the future of claims will be.

Underwriter Symposium

All Falvey Underwriters were invited to have an open discussion over dinner about cross-promotion and provide feedback on the state of the markets.

Employee Recognition

During the closing meeting, President Mike Falvey recognized Falvey employees who have reached the milestones of 5, 10, 15, and 20+ years of service at the company.

Summer Carnival

We closed out the week with some fun. There was a team-bonding photo challenge, dunk tank, and even a mechanical shark.
